L’Equipe: Milan handed boost as Thuram rejects Paris-Saint Germain offer

Marcus Thuram’s contract with Borussia Monchengladbach will expire at the end of the month and AC Milan have made him an offer. The Rossoneri have now been handed a boost, with PSG out of the race.

Thuram is the priority for the attack and Milan have already tabled a contract offer worth at least €5m per year. The striker is yet to respond but according to L’Equipe, he has rejected the offer from Paris Saint-Germain.

This puts Milan in a very good position as the French striker is expected to make his final decision in the coming days. The Rossoneri are able to offer him a key role in the project and guaranteed playing time, which is something PSG couldn’t do.

Milan are also expected to welcome Daichi Kamada on a free transfer at the end of the month. The Japanese international has agreed o sign a contract worth €3m per year and just the paperwork and the medical remain before it can be announced.
