L’Equipe: PSG initiate talks over Lens midfielder and could pave way for Sanches-Milan

Over the last few months, Renato Sanches has been linked with a move to AC Milan and it’s only in the last few days that this has been put at risk. However, Paris Saint-Germain have possible given the Rossoneri an opening.

The French side have entered the race for Sanches in the last week or so and Milan are unwilling to increase their current offer (around €18m including bonuses). Everything depends on the will of the player, therefore.

According to L’Equipe (via Calciomercato.com) PSG have set their sights on former Udinese midfielder and current Lens player Seko Fofana. Contacts are already underway and it’s possible that he could be the reinforcement for PSG’s midfield this summer.

This could be good news for Milan, potentially, as PSG might abandon or put their pursuit of Sanches on hold (at the very least). This hypothesis was confirmed by Calciomercato.com in the article, stating that Sanches remains the priority for now.
