L’Equipe: PSG begin pushing to sign Milan-linked forward

Paris Saint-Germain have begun to accelerate their interest in AC Milan target Marcus Thuram who is available on a free transfer this summer, a report claims.

As has been reported by L’Equipe in France (via Get Football News France), the Ligue 1 champions are very serious about getting a deal for the Borussia Monchengladbach striker done quickly.

Many teams have been linked with Thuram but there are serious fears that the interest from PSG will be too much to compete with. They can offer much higher wages, as well as the chance for Thuram to play in his home country again.

PSG have already wrapped up deals to sign Manuel Ugarte from Sporting CP and Marco Asensio from Real Madrid, so they are clearly serious about their summer business.

PSG reportedly held positive talks with Thuram’s father, Lillian, the former Juventus defender. The 24-year-old is said to be keen on the move.
