Longo: ‘Hot weeks’ ahead as Milan want to complete another 4-5 signings

AC Milan have signed five players this summer, three of which can be considered staters, but they don’t intend to stop now. Quite the opposite, in fact, as they want to sign another 4-5 players.

The likes of Marco Sportiello, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Luka Romero and Christian Pulisic have been announced by the club. Tijjani Reijnders will undergo his medical on Monday/Tuesday and that will take the total tally up to five players.

According to Daniele Longo, there are ‘hot weeks’ ahead as Milan want to sign another 4-5 players before the transfer window closes. The new management have been working with great patience but also determination, as evidenced by Reijnders negotiations.

One can speculate about the positions Milan still want to strengthen. Fode Ballo-Toure is expected to leave and thus a new deputy left-back will be needed, while another midfielder appears to be a priority as well.

Then, of course, the Rossoneri also want a right-winger as they have been linked with both Samuel Chukwueze and Arnaut Danjuma. Reinforcement is also needed up front and Mehdi Taremi is one of the targets. And that would be four signings in total.
