MEN: Man City unsure about the intentions of Gabriel Jesus as Milan and Inter come forward

Manchester City want to keep Gabriel Jesus but they are currently unsure if the striker wants to commit his future to the club, a report claims.

Calciomercato.it reported that Inter are big admirers of Gabriel Jesus their director Piero Ausilio has considered him a mercato dream for some time, and he actually tried to sign him from Palmeiras before he chose Manchester City, while Milan are also monitoring his situation as they look for a long-term centre-forward.

According to the Manchester Evening News, City are ‘understood to be keen on extending Jesus’ stay’ in Manchester but they do not know at the moment whether the interest is mutual given his lack of playing time at a crucial stage in his career.

Jesus knows there is the prospect of a big-name striker arriving in the summer while youngsters like Cole Palmer are ‘likely to challenge for more minutes next season’ so there is a possibility that the Brazilian may begin to ‘feel that his interests might be better served elsewhere’ as per the report.
