FCInterNews: Man Utd, Man City and Newcastle watched Milan and Inter stars

Newcastle United had a scout on hand to watch AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori during the Champions League semi-final first leg against Inter, a report claims.

According to a report from FCInterNews, there were a number of top European clubs who sent scouts to watch potentially interesting players from the Rossoneri and the Nerazzurri in view of the transfer market.

Specifically, emissaries from Real Madrid and Manchester City were in the stands after they played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their semi-final at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.

Alessandro Bastoni of Inter is liked by Manchester City, while Manchester United also had someone there to watch Andre Onana, but it is not just Simone Inzaghi’s side who have interesting profiles.

Also on the list was a representative of Newcastle, who have an excellent chance of qualifying for the next Champions League and are already working on improving their squad.

The goal is to sign a central defender who knows how to play on the left side, and that is why Tomori was observed, though he did not have the best game.
