Throughout Felix’s career, there have been a number of difficulties. Whether it be problems with form or selection, the Portuguese talent has struggled to really settle down, and his latest move to Chelsea is another example to add to the list.

Arriving permanently in the summer, Chelsea were open to a loan in January – a situation which Milanisti have grown familiar with this season – and Milan moved quickly to make a deal happen after being turned away earlier in the window.

On Wednesday night, the forward made his debut at San Siro from the bench, and immediately showed fans a glimpse of what he can produce, leaving the crowd hooked already.

Today, Enzo Maresca has given some behind-the-scenes insight that made a loan occur for Felix, and Calciomercato.com have relayed the Italian’s words.

“Nothing has happened. The players train every day and want to play every game. But there is only room on the pitch for 11. We all decided together that it was a good option to leave. He never complained.”
