Messaggero: Roma express openness to inclusion of Milan talent in Zaniolo deal

Another report has emerged claiming that Roma are interested in AC Milan midfielder Tommaso Pobega amid the Nicolo Zaniolo speculation.

According to what was reported by today’s edition of Il Messaggero (via SempreMilan.it), there is a potential a turning point in the negotiations between Milan and Roma for Zaniolo because the Rossoneri have been made aware that they would accept Pobega in a deal as a counterpart.

Pobega is the third player who has been mentioned in the media as a potential trading chip in the talks over the Italian winger after Alexis Saelemaekers and Ante Rebic, who seemingly have not aroused much appetite from the Giallorossi.

Despite the fact that Pobega may surprisingly become a bargaining chip, Milan would still like to renew the contract of the 22-year-old midfielder and at the moment they believe he has a value of around €15m after a positive season out on loan at Torino.
