Mediaset: Messias favourite to start against Lecce – how the attack should look

There is a chance that Junior Messias could get a start for AC Milan tomorrow in their game away against Lecce, according to a report.

The rest of the Milan team pretty much picks itself as Mike Maignan’s injury means Ciprian Tatarusanu will get the nod, with a defence of Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez expected ahead of him. Sandro Tonali’s suspension means Aster Vranckx should start alongside Ismael Bennacer in midfield.

In view of tomorrow’s match against Lecce, Claudio Raimondi reported on SportMediaset (via MilanNews) that Messias seems to have the advantage over Alexis Saelemaekers to start from the first minute on the right wing.

Completing the trident behind Olivier Giroud will be Brahim Diaz in the middle and Rafael Leao on the left as the Rossoneri look for answers after firing a blank in midweek against Torino in their Coppa Italia exit after extra time.
