A lot has been said about the remainder of the season since the defeat against Lazio last time out, with Milan definitely losing momentum in their already unrealistic Scudetto pursuit. Nevertheless, they need to get back to winning ways after being leapfrogged by Napoli last night.
In the latest podcast episode, the regulars Oliver, Anthony and Ahmed provided their score predictions for the team. There was no consensus among the three as they went for a different outcome each, which says a lot about the confidence for this one.
Anthony: “I think we might collapse here. Honestly I think we’re the top candidates for a late-season regression, especially after the Lazio game. I’m gonna say this has a 1-2 loss written all over it, I think it’s another one where we go two goals down and then just pull one back.
Ahmed: “I’m going to say a 2-1 win. We are seven points above fifth, we have a good cushion, and there’s certainly a lot less to play for now, a lot less pressure. They will probably just come out and be professional, win a game.”
Oliver: “I don’t think Allegri will allow this team to go into a full tailspin, especially since the break is coming up after this. That said, I’m going 1-1, I don’t think we win this.”
