Tuttosport: Milan and Napoli ready for battle on and off the field – €50m striker a mutual target

On Sunday night AC Milan will meet Napoli in the league for the return fixture of the season to begin a month of April in which the two teams will face off two more times in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Alongside the three matches on the pitch, Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) underlines how the challenge could also extend away from the field and more specifically could concern the transfer targets the Rossoneri and Partenopei have on their list.

The name that both clubs have as a dream target is Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta, who is showing himself to be one of the best young centre-forwards around and he has now exploded international too having scored five goals in two games in his first two starts for Denmark.

Milan have been following the player since his time at Copenhagen but today his valuation has risen up to €50m, a price more within the reach of Napoli if they were to sell Victor Osimhen in the summer.

Nonetheless, the Rossoneri in particular know that they need to find a young striker who can guarantee a certain level of performances to grow under the wings of a veteran like Olivier Giroud.
