Earlier today, reports suggested that Milan had a plan to sign the Greek starlet from Genk this summer, preferring to sort a deal with the player and then move to negotiate with the club. However, it appears that this could hinder them.

Indeed, reports from Germany would now suggest that this approach is exactly what could lose the player…

Milan in danger

According to the latest report from BILD, via BVB Newsblog on X, the Rossoneri’s approach is not going down well with the player. Indeed, he prefers the approach from Dortmund, who are pushing to make a move happen with Genk, rather than with the player first.

Their monitoring of the attacker has been ongoing for more than two years now and their ‘persistence’ has left the Greek impressed. Put simply, they have a ‘clear advantage’ over the Diavolo.

So much so that they are his first choice this summer, and if the clubs reach an agreement, he will probably head to Germany. Milan must alter their approach and start making up the ground before it’s too late… if it’s not already.
