Report names the three players Milan want in 2023 to take squad to the next level

The AC Milan management are lining up three potential signings to try and keep building on the squad that has been assembled, a report claims.

According to Fichajes.net, Milan have the objective of remaining one of the best teams in Italy and are also seeking to go further in the Champions League, with three specific targets for the next summer transfer market having emerged.

The first is Naby Keita, whose contract with Liverpool ends in the summer of 2023 and he has no intention of renewing it because Jürgen Klopp is not giving him much playing time. He appeals to Milan as a replacement for Franck Kessie that did not arrive in the summer, and because he is a free agent.

The second target is Xavi Simons. The Dutchman has been one of the sensations at the start of the season in European football and is one of the main stars for PSV. He can play both as a false 9 and as a playmaker, and he fits perfectly with Pioli’s ideas and with the club’s project.

Finally there is Marco Asensio whose deal with Real Madrid runs out in the summer of 2023 and everything seems to indicate that he will leave the Santiago Bernabéu to join another great European club where he will get more playing time. The Rossoneri see him as the ideal man to reinforce the right wing.
