Giornale: Milan want to avoid same scenario as Inter and Juve by securing two big renewals

AC Milan are keen on extending the contract of both Fikayo Tomori and Pierre Kalulu as they look to avoid the situations Inter and Juventus have found themselves in.

According to Il Giornale (via MilanNews), Milan have an eye on the fact that Inter are having to sell Milan Skriniar while Juventus look set to lose De Ligt to Bayern Munich which will weaken their respective defensive options.

The Rossoneri management not only want to hold on to their own prized young centre-backs, but they are also ready to lock down both Tomori and Kalulu with the renewal of their contracts at the club.

No terms are mentioned, but it would certainly be a positive and proactive move given that the Englishman and the Frenchman were a big part of the Scudetto win, especially after Stefano Pioli’s side ended the season with 9 clean sheets in their last 11 Serie A games, conceding only twice.
