CM.it: Milan want €30m-rated Berardi – Messias and Pobega involved in Maldini’s strategy

AC Milan have decided to try and sign Domenico Berardi in the summer transfer window with Paolo Maldini putting a plan together, a report claims.

Alexis Saelemaekers and Junior Messias currently occupy the two right wing spots while Samu Castillejo seems ready to leave at the end of the season, but there could also be a signing to boost the attack.

Calciomercato.it reports that Berardi is a target for the Rossoneri and has a valuation of around €30m, given that he is now on 10 goals and 10 assists in the league. It is a big price but within the reach of Milan because they might be able to convince the Neroverdi that they can help replace him.

Junior Messias was strongly sought by Sassuolo and they could turn to him to replace Berardi, while they also asked for information about Tommaso Pobega’s situation given his loan with Torino will expire in the summer.

The departure of Davide Frattesi – who appears destined to join Inter – would open the doors to a new midfield and Pobega from Milan could be the ideal replacement. The pieces are there to strike up a negotiation.
