This morning’s edition of the newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) confirms that the first shareholders’ meeting since RedBird Capital became the new owner of Milan is scheduled for this afternoon.

The new Board of Directors will also emerge from this meeting and the ownership will have to assign the positions of each member.

As part of this, the paper adds that Paolo Scaroni will remain president, while Ivan Gazidis will still be the CEO of the club until November when his contract expires. After that, his future remains to be seen.

Carlo Festa of Il Sole 24 Ore (via SempreMilan.it) is reporting that there will be three representatives for Elliott Management on the new board and four for RedBird, while the ninth member (in addition to Scaroni who will chairperson) will be CEO Ivan Gazidis.
