It is looking increasingly unlikely that the deal for André will be concluded between AC Milan and Corinthians after all.

The André story has become the saga of the week, after news broke from several sources that Milan had agreed a €17m package. The Corinthians’ president is trying to block things at the last minute because he wants more money, and has faced backlash from fans.
So, the Milan management are apparently evaluating legal action through FIFA as a result, because they claim that the relevant documents were already signed and that backing out of the deal breaks regulations.
Milan to walk away?
According to Corriere dello Sport (via MilanPress), negotiations between Milan and Corinthians for the teenage midfielder André are currently at a complete standstill and seem unlikely to be concluded.
After everything seemed done for around €15m fixed plus €2m in bonuses, the Brazilian club backed out due to ‘vehement protests on social media’ from fans.
The President reiterated to the player’s entourage that he is not for sale unless the Rossoneri significantly improve their asking price (some sources speak of just over €20m, others of €24m).
Meanwhile, the player also seems to have taken a step back. After initially saying yes, he is now re-evaluating his options both for the love of Corinthians and because he thinks he needs a few more months in Brazil before making the big leap to Europe.
For now, therefore, the negotiations are on hold and, given that the Diavolo do not appear to want to raise their offer, it seems to be heading towards a negative conclusion.
