It appears that AC Milan have entered a tug of war with Corinthians over the signing of Andre. A messy situation, indeed.

In the past few days, there have been more worries about a deal for André, rather than excitement about what the youngster could provide for Milan. This is due to the number of questions that surround his move.
Despite everything being agreed and emails confirming the situation being exchanged, the Brazilian club are now trying to pull out of the deal, believing that the midfielder is actually worth much more.
With a transfer not able to occur until after the World Cup, it seems that this situation could go on for quite a while, with Gazzetta dello Sport even writing that the clubs are in a ‘tug of war’ over the talent.
The situation
This is certainly more of a RedBird signing than one looked for by Massimiliano Allegri: a young player with bags of potential and a high resale value, as the report states.
Furthermore, it would be the first time that the club have spent €17 million largely untested, let alone in Italy, whilst it would also not represent an Allegri signing in quality.
The deal seems easier to unlock than to understand, really. Immediately having an impact in the first team will be difficult.
