Sky: Milan ready to make first official offer for Wolfsburg midfielder

AC Milan are ready to submit their first official offer for Wolfsburg midfielder Aster Vranckx having held talks with the Bundesliga side, a report claims.

As has been reported by Sky Sport today (via Milan News), technical director Paolo Maldini and sporting director Frederic Massara have settled on Vranckx as the player they want to bring more depth to the midfield without straying away from their transfer philosophy.

At just 19 years of age, he is a player that can develop with others in the squad and it’s a move that shouldn’t break the bank.

Milan are very close to Wolfsburg’s valuation as there has been lots of contact between the clubs. They now aim to make the bid for a loan with the right of redemption set at €12 million.

There is a lot of confidence at the club that this bid will be enough to close the negotiation and thus Milan’s transfer window.
