As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), Milan find themselves at a serious crossroads in regard to their transfer strategy.
If they do make it into the top four by the end of this campaign, they could sanction a move for Okafor who can add some freshness and quality to the attack.
If they fail to make it, there is no way that a deal of that magnitude can be done, and the club will almost certainly need to sell Rafael Leao.
That sale would bring money that can be spread around the squad, but Leao is not expected to want to stay at the club if there is no Champions League football on offer and there will be lots of interest.
