CM: Milan monitoring €30m Sassuolo star and receive positive scouting reports

A number of top Italian clubs are keen on Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi and AC Milan are among them, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com report that Frattesi is experiencing probably the best year of his young career despite the fact he could have been disappointed he wasn’t able to secure a move last summer, having netted six goals this season from his box-to-box role.

The feeling is that the coming summer will be the right moment for him to make the jump to a top club with Milan, Inter and Juventus all having followed Frattesi’s performances in recent weeks and having received positive reviews.

The Bianconeri are the most interested but they must see what the outcome is of the investigations that the club are involved in. Either way their plan is to focus on young players – possibly Italians – and with sustainable salaries.

That make Frattesi the perfect target for them, while Sassuolo are sensing the potential to cash in and are hoping for €30m in order to sell the Italy international.
