It is that time of the year when we see squad announcements and players reacting to their inclusions in national teams. Indeed, the World Cup is around a month away and excitement is raising, especially for those heading to America.

As expected, Milan have some representation and a few stars have already been called up to their respective national teams.

In and Out

MilanPress relays the confirmation of two of the Rossoneri’s biggest players – Mike Maignan and Adrien Rabiot – in the squad for this summer, where Les Bleus are expected to get to the latter rounds of the competition.

However, there have also been two omissions.

As their report continues, Youssouf Fofana and Christopher Nkunku have not been fortunate enough to make the squad, which will be a disappointment for both. It may also be seen as a disappointment for the Diavolo.

After all, positive performances on the world stage could have helped secure moves away, with neither player safe for next season. So, Milan will be stuck hoping that they can attract some suitors in the final games of the season instead.
