Milan are evaluating two talents above all who tick the boxes: Kerim Alajbegovic of Bayer Leverkusen and Konstantinos Karetsas of Genk. Can Uzun also remains in the background, but Eintracht Frankfurt are asking for a whopping €50m to sell him.

The young forward is coming off an excellent loan spell at Red Bull Salzburg in Austria. He is slightly more affordable than the other potential candidates, as he would cost around €25m despite the fact Leverkusen just used a buy-back for €8m.
Karetsas has a slightly higher price tag of at least €35m, but he appears to be Milan’s favourite because they consider him a future champion and are convinced it’s an investment worth making now to avoid losing the chance in the future.
Essentially, the Rossoneri believe they must either sign him now or probably never. Contacts with Genk are expected next week to assess the feasibility of this deal, particularly from a financial standpoint.
