AC Milan and Inter will have to incur extra costs if they are to satisfy the demands of the City Council over the new stadium, a report claims.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes how in recent days the City Council approved the agenda to ask Milan and Inter for some changes to the original stadium project, after the public debate process which took place over the last few weeks.
In particular, what is being asked is an increase in capacity to at least 70,000 seats to avoid a drastic increase in ticket prices. However, the clubs are aware that increasing the number of seats would also increase the costs by at least €100m.
For this reason Milan and Inter are studying the situation and how to proceed, given that the project originally agreed upon already costs €1.3bn, so further costs might well push the Rossoneri and Nerazzurri to think about a move to a different part of the city.
