From Spain: Milan and Inter battling Dortmund and West Ham for Real Madrid playmaker

AC Milan have been listed as one of the four potential destinations for Real Madrid playmaker Isco Alarcon whose contract is expiring, a report claims.

According to Fichajes.net in Spain, Isco’s nine-year spell at Real Madrid will come to an end once the season is done because the LaLiga club are not going to renew his contract which expires on June 30. This means that the Malaga-born playmaker and his entourage are looking for a new team and a new project.

Milano could be his destination because Inter are eager to get their hands on the 29-year-old and put him in their 3-5-2 under Simone Inzaghi, as a potential upgrade or rotation option for Hakan Calhanoglu.

Meanwhile, Milan have also been interested in signing Isco for years and are going to fight with their city rivals. The player was really close to signing for the Rossoneri in the last January market, but Los Blancos did not want to let him leave in the middle of season.

Borussia Dortmund want to add more creativity to their attack with a top-level player and Marco Rose wants Isco – who would not mind a move to the Bundesliga – but he is also flattered by West Ham’s interest too because it would mean a larger salary and the chance to play regularly in the Premier League.
