It seems that the second midfield reinforcement (after Luka Modric) will be Samuele Ricci, as several reports confirmed that Milan are the verge of sealing a deal worth €22m plus €3m in bonuses with Torino.

That news came after a period in which not much was reported about the Italian, with other targets linked like Jashari. Speaking of the Swiss international, the most recent was that Brugge are resigned to losing him and are now looking for a replacement, but they still plan to cash in a big amount.

New Jashari talks imminent

Now, Matteo Moretto has provided a fresh update on his X profile regarding the situation. He confirmed that it will be a difficult pursuit for the Rossoneri but that they seem to be willing to try.

“In the coming hours (today) there will be a new direct contact between Milan and Club Brugge for Ardon Jashari,” he said.

“The latest offer from the Rossoneri club is €27m + €5m, while Brugge, between the fixed part and bonuses, would like to approach €40m. Milan are considering a new bid. The negotiation is economically difficult and an uphill battle.”
