This morning’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes that Tomori is trying his absolute hardest to recover for the derby against the Nerazzurri on Saturday evening, which will be a season-defining game for the Rossoneri as it will either reopen the top four battle or reignite the Scudetto battle.
The Englishman will do everything to be there at San Siro, but the feeling is that time is running out for him to recover to such an extent that the medical staff do not mind risking him.
The 24-year-old could therefore return to Stefano Pioli’s disposal for the Coppa Italia match against Lazio in the last 16. If he were to miss the big match against Inter, Alessio Romagnoli and Kalulu would play as the centre-back pairing.
