Massimo Oddo will continue at the helm of Milan Futuro next season and will soon sign a contract extension, reports claim.

Milan’s reserve team were admitted to Serie C on 27 June 2024 to fill a vacancy created by Ancona’s exclusion. Daniele Bonera was the inaugural head coach, and they instantly found it difficult to compete with wins hard to come by.
The Futuro finished 18th in the regular season, and they lost to SPAL (2-1 on aggregate) in the relegation play–offs, meaning they will now drop down to playing in the fourth tier. In Italy, that is the amateur level, so it will be a big difference.
Oddo set to stay
According to Sky (via Calciomercato.com) as well as Nicolo Schira and other sources, Milan have decided to keep Oddo in charge and the coach will sign a two-year contract extension on Monday.
The Rossoneri have faith in the former world champion, who arrived at the end of the season and almost succeeded in avoiding relegation, but for an eventual relegation play-off defeat to SPAL.
Oddo and Milan Futuro will restart from Serie D, and the intention is to create an even more youth-driven project, one which has drawn comparisons with Barcelona’s B-Team who were also relegated.
