Report: Lang confirms Club Brugge departure and Milan interest

AC Milan target Noa Lang has confirmed that he will be leaving Club Brugge this summer and admitted the Rossoneri’s interest in him, a report claims.

Speaking during an interview with Het Laatse Nieuws in Belgium, Lang did not hold back when describing the apparent impact that he has had on the Belgian Jupiler Pro League during his time at Club Brugge.

“I’ve been heating up Belgian football. I’m telling you: when I’m gone, Belgium will miss me,” he said.

“Because I gave colour to your football. Next season you will be crying for a Noa Lang in the Jupiler Pro League again.”

The young Dutch striker has become known for his questionable and extremely confident attitude and should he end up at Milan next season, Stefano Pioli will do well to harness it.

The player made it clear that whilst he does not have an agreement with Milan at the moment but did not deny that the club are keen on signing him.

“I can’t deny that Milan are interested in signing me but it’s not that I have a personal agreement with them.”

Continuing the clear strong belief in his abilities, Lang discussed who will be his replacement in attack at Club Brugge and whether they will be able to cope with the pressure.

“With Nusa, the Club has my successor. I sometimes joke that he’s the only one who can take my number 10 after I leave.

“I don’t know who will get it, because you need broad shoulders. I’m glad I waited another year before leaving, because I’ve learned a lot. Now I’m ready.”
