The break for the World Cup this winter will be a complicated moment for all clubs who will lose players to their national teams and/or have their rhythm disrupted given that the season is virtually split in half.

According to reports from the English newspaper Liverpool Echo (via SempreMilan.it), the managements of Milan and Liverpool are currently working on the organisation of a friendly that will take place while the tournament is on in Qatar.

The exact date has not yet been chosen but the two teams would have chosen Dubai as the venue for their friendly, as well as for the mid-season training retreat of both teams, thus meaning it makes logistical sense.

MilanNews confirms that a game against Liverpool is worked on  but it will not be the only match Milan play to try and keep their rhythm, as friendly games in Italy should be held in December before the short Christmas break.
