CM: Milan to lock in two jewels for the future and reward them with pay rises

Last week it was confirmed that Theo Hernandez’s contract has been extended until 2026, and now Milan are reportedly ready to lock in two other pillars for the future.

According to Calciomercato.com, the next announcement will be the renewal of Ismaël Bennacer’s contract, with whom the management have found an agreement over an extension until 2026 with a salary that will be doubled from the current €1.5m net per season to €3m.

After the Algerian midfielder it will then be Pierre Kalulu who should sign a new agreement. The defender has shown in a year and a half that he is very much a Serie A quality player having signed from Lyon with 0 senior appearances under his belt.

He should extend by one season – with the deadline therefore moving from June 2025 until 2026 – with a significant raise in his salary, which is currently around €600k net per year and is a reward for the quality and versatility he has shown.
