GdS: Milan lurking at the window as playmaker seems destined to leave Lazio

AC Milan are waiting at the window to understand if Lazio might let Luis Alberto leave on advantageous terms, according to a report.

As reported by today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via our colleagues at SempreMilan.it), things seems to have reached a point of no return between Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri and Luis Alberto as the Spanish playmaker wants to play more regularly.

Alberto already has 4 goals this season including Serie A and the Europa League, but he has started just 7 of 14 games and remained on the pitch for 90 minutes on just 2 occasions.

The paper claims that next summer Sevilla are expected to rekindle their interest after being very close to completing a deal in the last transfer window, but the 30-year-old may also have the chance to stay in Italy.

The Rossoneri management are at the window waiting to see if there are the conditions to make an offer, one that could be launched as early as the January mercato, having been intensely linked with a move for Alberto in the past.
