Repubblica: Milan and Napoli to do battle for winger rated at €35m

AC Milan and Napoli are doing battle on the pitch in the race for the Scudetto but they also share a target for the summer window, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by the newspaper La Repubblica (via MilanNews), Milan and Napoli are strongly interested in signing Berardi because both are looking for an upgrade on their right flank.

However, they will have to cough up a serious amount of cash because the Neroverdi are anticipating a potential auction and that is why they have set an asking price of €35m for the 27-year-old at the moment.

It is a pretty sizeable figure, but it must be remembered that Berardi is a player who in the current Serie A season has amassed 12 goals plus 10 assists in the 26 games he has played, reaching double figures in goals scored for the fifth season in a row in the process.
