Repubblica: Milan plan to open talks over €35m-rated Eintracht Frankfurt star

AC Milan have not given up on the idea of signing Randal Kolo Muani and may try their hand again, according to a report.

According to a report from La Repubblica, Milan were watching the World Cup in Qatar closely and it showcased some interesting players that could be very useful for the cause, with Kolo Muani among them.

The Rossoneri management are looking for a striker who can lend a hand to Olivier Giroud after Divock Origi’s latest injury and the desire to not rush Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s return to the field. The ‘new’ is indeed Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt.

The striker scored a goal in the semi-final to seal France’s progress to the final, also adding an assist against Argentina in the final and almost scoring the winning goal but seeing his shot miraculously saved by Emiliano Martinez.

Milan tried to sign him on a free transfer when he was with FC Nantes but Frankfurt won the race, now the 24-year-old is valued at €35m given he has 14 goal contributions in 14 Bundesliga games this season.

The German club have no intention of selling and will postpone any discussion until the end of the current season, but Milan want to start talks.
