AC Milan are looking to wrap up an agreement with Liverpool striker Divock Origi soon having earned his approval, a report claims.
The links surrounding Origi have exploded over the past couple of days with a lot of major sources claiming that the Rossoneri are going full steam ahead to try and strike a deal with the Belgian, given that his contract is set to expire at the end of the season meaning he would be available on a free.
According to Antonio Vitiello on YouTube, Milan want to agree a €4m net per season (including bonuses) deal with Origi which would be a four-year contract. That would be €16m net in total, and thanks to the Growth Decree tax relief scheme it would be €24m in gross.
Origi is ‘very attracted’ by the idea of joining Milan, who want to get everything agreed in the next few weeks, and it seems unlikely that the auto-renewal clause that Liverpool have will be triggered.
