AC Milan’s Primavera side were unable to follow up a positive result against Chelsea in midweek as they lost 1-0 to Empoli at Vismara this afternoon.

Ignazio Abate’s side went back to the top of their UEFA Youth League group on Wednesday afternoon as they managed a 1-1 draw against Chelsea in London, with Jan-Carlo Simic scoring his first goal since joining in the summer.
It was Empoli who ran out winners this afternoon though and unfortunately it came via an incredible mistake from Andrea Coubis, who gave the ball away allowing Barsi to take advantage and make it 1-0 in the 69th minute.
In truth Coubis was one of a few players who simply looked way off the pace, with Chaka Traore also disappointing on the right flank and Nava in goal to thank for the away side not taking the lead early. Marko Lazetic had a good outing though, and Antonio Gala looked bright in midfield.
