Tuttosport: Milan rekindle interest in Szoboszlai but have €20m ‘Plan B’ ready

It appears as though AC Milan’s interest in Dominik Szoboszlai never went away and they are plotting a summer attempt to sign him, a report claims.

According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Szoboszlai’s name could come back into fashion following the previous attempts to land him as the Hungarian is still on the list of targets for the playmaker role.

However, he is also being followed by many different clubs and if it were to become an auction, Milan would not partake and already have a Plan B in the form of Lazar Samardzic who is currently at Udinese. He would cost around €20m.

Returning to the Leipzig player, yesterday there was a social clue as Leao commented on Szoboszlai’s Instagram photo stating: ‘Come to Milan’. Of course it might just be fun and games between the two, but it appears Milan still hold Szoboszlai in high esteem.
