CorSport: Milan rekindle interest in France U19 international who could arrive on a free

AC Milan are looking at options to reinforce the midfield right now but also in the future and they have reignited interest in Warren Bondo, a report claims.

It seems as though the idea of signing Renato Sanches is slipping away as the Portuguese midfielder appears destined to join PSG as things stand at the moment, but the search is still on for an option to give Stefano Pioli more physicality and dynamism in the middle of the park.

Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive) are reporting that Milan are back in for Warren Bondo. The 18-year-old Frenchman has an expiring contract with AS Nancy-Lorraine and could therefore come on a free transfer (net of any development fee).

The Rossoneri management actually already tried to sign him a year ago, but did not find an agreement with the Ligue 1 club. Bondo clearly would not immediately be Kessie’s replacement and a potential starter, but he is a promising young player and deals like the Pierre Kalulu operation show that having an eye for talent pays off.
