CorSport: Milan searching for an upgrade on Messias – two names fit the identikit

AC Milan are looking to strengthen in the right wing position ahead of next season and the identikit set matches two players, a report claims.

As reported today by il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive), the Rossoneri have formulated a very precise vision regarding the winger that Pioli would need to reinforce the right flank of his 4-2-3-1 formation.

They want a player with qualities similar to those of Junior Messias, who starts wide and often gets in isolation but he also cuts inside and causes danger that way, but they want a player who guarantees about 10 goals per season to increase the variety of the attack and spread the production.

This identikit leads to two profiles in particular and the first is Domenico Berardi, who has 14 goals for Sassuolo this season. In June he could finally change clubs, with Milan and Inter on his trail. Sassuolo want at least €35m to sell their captain, so it could be tough.

The other player who has the right qualities is Ismaila Sarr, a right-footed winger who has a good weak foot knows how to play on either flank. He is a champion of Africa with Senegal and should leave Watford in the summer, especially if they are relegated.
