CM: Milan ‘pushing hard’ for €35m-rated Belgian ace amid Manchester United interest

A race appears to be developing to secure the services of Belgian forward Charles De Ketelaere, with AC Milan one of several European sides showing interest, according to a report.

21-year-old De Ketelaere plays his football in his native Belgium with Club Brugge, racking up 21 goal contributions from 32 league games so far this season.

According to calciomercato.com, Belgian press report that the young attacker has been identified by a number of top sides, and is valued at €35m. Milan are said to be pushing hard in making contact with the player, but now face competition from Manchester United.

The two sides are said to be the ones seriously pursuing the versatile attacker. Napoli have distanced themselves despite previously showing interest, according to the report.

Born in 2001, De Ketelaere joined Club Brugge aged 7 and has since worked his way up into the first team, becoming a full Belgium international in November 2020.
