MN: Milan must secure Vranckx deal before selling another midfielder

AC Milan need to secure the deal for Aster Vranckx from Wolfsburg before they can sanction the sale of Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to a report.

As has been reported by Milan News today, the Rossoneri need to make sure that they do not have too many or too few midfielders in the squad for the new campaign which is now three games old.

They are very close to signing Vranckx from Wolfsburg on a loan deal that has an optional fee of €11 million to make the deal permanent next summer.

They need to secure that deal before they can allow Bakayoko to be sold to either Monza or Lyon, the two teams most interested in signing him.

It is reported that the french midfielder is much more interested in joining Monza than Lyon mainly for the logistical reasons of not having to move house. A meeting is set to take place between his agents and Milan.
