Sky: Milan hoping Wednesday Belgium mission for CDK will be decisive – all the details

AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will today embark on a trip to Belgium to try and finally seal the deal for Charles De Ketelaere.

Speaking on Sky (via MilanNews) last night, Peppe Di Stefano confirmed Wednesday’s ‘blitz’ to Belgium which has been organised by Milan and will start tomorrow shortly before lunch towards Brussels, from where they will then move to Bruges.

It may well be that it is not a decisive mission but they idea is to speed up the process of bringing De Ketelaere to Milan because Club Brugge have been tough to negotiate with and the situation had become a bit static.

Milan have two certainties: the first is that they want to invest a lot of money (around €30m plus bonuses for the 21-year-old) and The second is that the player has chosen Milan. Strengthened by these things, tomorrow Maldini and Massara will get on a plane and ask for the possibility of buying it at those figures.

Milan will not participate in auctions, so should it go well then Milan will close the deal in the following days, but if not then they will change their target.
