As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Milan News), the Rossoneri want Lazetic to get more experience in a competitive environment rather than sit on the Milan bench or continue playing in the Primavera side.
The Serbian appears to have found himself in the stage of development where he is finding the Primavera less of a challenge than before but is not ready for the jump up to regular involvement in the first team.
Given Milan would like to add another forward to the squad in January, it means that the need for Lazetic as an emergency option is reduced and the door is open for a loan.
The 18-year-old has scored three goals in four Primavera games and has played once in Serie A.
