Although there are only 4 days left before the expiration of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara’s contracts, they are continuing to plan the summer window with particular focus on the attack.

Calciomercato.com reports that most of the amount that was set aside to sign Sven Botman will be invested in the attack with particular emphasis on the right wing and playmaker roles, and there a few targets standing out above all at the moment.

Marco Asensio remains the hottest name as he is considered the right player to give the Rossoneri attack a jump in quality with his goals, assists and his versatility. The asking price is affordable but the main obstacle is represented by the player’s salary, which is €7m net per season, a figure Milan cannot pay.

In recent days, there was a chat between Roma director Tiago Pinto and Ricky Massara to define the permanent signing of Alessandro Florenzi, and the name of Nicolò Zaniolo popped up. The winger has not renewed with the Giallorossi and is perfect in terms of age and characteristics. He has affordable salary requests, but Roma are asking for €60m which is too much.

Then there is Hakim Ziyech who is leaving Chelsea this summer and has been offered to the Rossoneri management. All of the management like him a lot, but the economic nature of the entire operation is currently an obstacle that can only be overcome with an initial loan (with option or obligation), that Chelsea are not currently open to.

The most affordable profile therefore remains that Noa Lang of Club Brugge who would cost €20m at most. His age and his salary means that he fits perfectly within the club’s parameters but the doubt in this case is technical because he is naturally a left winger, where Rafael Leao and Ante Rebic are currently.
