ML: The four key reasons Milan see €30m-rated playmaker as their No.1 target

AC Milan consider Nikola Vlasic of CSKA Moscow to be their ideal reinforcement for the attacking midfielder role, a report claims.

MilanLive have published an update on Vlasic and have outlined the many reasons that Milan believe Vlasic is the ideal replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu. CSKA Moscow continue to demand around €30m for the Croatian, but he has been pushing for some time to leave Russia and would join milan.

Firstly he is the right age, as he is currently 23 and will turn 24 in October, meaning he is about to enter the prime years of his career with plenty of time at the top level to come. He has played in three leagues too: the Croatian one (Hajduk Split), the Premier League (Everton) and the Russian Premier League now.

Moreover, Vlasic is a pure attacking midfielder who knows how to make a different between the lines with goals and assists, but he has also shown an ability to play out wide if needed. The fourth and final factor in his favour is his reliability, with Vlasic possessing a pretty clean bill of health at every club aside from last May when a knee inflammation ruled him out for 15 days. This cannot be said about other players linked like Isco and James Rodriguez.
