MilanNews reports that after his appearance during the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals against Roma last Thursday, a trip that served to touch based with the management, Cardinale should be there on Monday to.

Last week allowed the Milan owner to begin planning for the future which included meetings in tje city with Giorgio Furlani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Cardinale could be back in the Lombardy capital on Monday, which would be a further important sign.

Cardinale’s first ever appearance at San Siro dates back to a derby match on 3 September 2022, when the newly crowned champions Milan managed to beat Inter 3-2 thanks to a brace from Rafael Leao and a goal from Olivier Giroud.

Will there be more to the appearance than that? There are now many reports circulating suggesting that Stefano Pioli will leave Milan at the end of the season.

Fabrizio Romano for example claims that the decision has been made and the Rossoneri coach will be sacked once the season has been completed, despite having a contract expiring on 30 June 2025.
