MN: Elliott have invested over €700m into Milan but could sell the club for a profit

AC Milan’s owners Elliott Management have invested over €700m into the club and could sell for a profit if they wanted to, a report claims.

According to Franco Ordine’s latest for MilanNews, the total of Elliott’s payments in the coffers of Milan amounts to €533,651,056 and then the initial €300m lent to the Chinese must be added, meaning the total rises to €833m, while the repayment of the bond must be taken off so the net total is €705m.

The current valuation of Milan is around €750m, which means that the American fund would generate a small gain in the event of a sale to a new ownership. This is not the case for Inter and for Juventus, who have huge debts that have not been paid off and this certainly hampers the amount that either club could get if they were to decide to change ownership.
