MN: How Milan could line-up against Juventus – midfield duo return

AC Milan face their next big test of the season straight after the international break as they welcome Juventus to San Siro for Sunday night’s game.

According to MilanNews, the good news for Stefano Pioli is that the international break passed without incident meaning there are no new injuries, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Rade Krunic and Pierre Kalulu are all expected to recover.

With that in mind, Pioli could deploy the following line-up against Juventus: Sportiello in goal (Maignan is suspended), Calabria on the right and Florenzi on the left (Theo is suspended) with Thiaw and Tomori centre-backs.

Then Krunic would be at the base of the midfield three with Loftus-Cheek and Reijnders either side as the box-to-box players. The attacking trident would feature Pulisic on the right, Leao on the opposite flank and Giroud down the middle.

For more concrete signs on what the team is expected to be we will have to wait for all players to be back in training, which is likely to be tomorrow.
