MN: Milan hoping to close De Ketelaere deal as both parties push for move

Charles De Ketelaere has his mind set on joining AC Milan and the latter are working hard to reach an agreement with Club Brugge. The upcoming days could be decisive, as a new assault is to be launched.

Milan have been linked with the playmaker for quite some time now and the negotiations are entering a crucial phase. Leeds United have offered more, but De Ketekaere wants to play in the Champions League and has made his preference clear.

As per MilanNews, the Rossoneri have already reached an agreement on the personal terms, worth €2m per year. They could also decide to slightly increase their €30m offer in order to convince Club Brugge, with news expected on this in the coming days.

It’s clear, however, that both Milan and De Ketelaere’s agents are pushing for the move to materialise and it remains to be seen how long Club Brugge can withstand this pressure. Either way, they will be making a very good capital gain.
