MN: Milan will be missing three players against Parma – the names

AC Milan are going to be without three players thanks to injury when they take on Parma in the second Serie A match of the season.

Injuries became a constant concern for Milan last season with the defence being impacted very heavily, and Paulo Fonseca will hope that he is not faced with the same problems that Stefano Pioli had to deal with.

As highlighted Milan News, Fonseca’s injury list is currently limited to three players and two of them would not have been in the frame to start the match against the newly-promoted side.

Alessandro Florenzi and Marco Sportiello are both currently recovering from long-term injuries and are not in the picture at all for the match at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

The major absentee is Alvaro Morata. The Spanish striker came off the bench to make a serious impact against Torino on Matchday 1 and he scored his first goal for the club.

Unfortunately, he also suffered an injury in the process and he is not expected to feature until after the first international break. This means that Noah Okafor and Luka Jovic will compete for his spot in the team.

The expectation is that Okafor will get the nod against Parma.
